Got my content written

Needed some content writing done for my website and Marthrive was pretty easy to navigate. Found a writer quickly and they delivered the articles on time. The writing was solid, not groundbreaking but perfectly fine for what I needed. Payment was straightforward too. No complaints, will probably use again when I need more stuff.

Good service, small delay

I hired someone for a logo design project and it worked out pretty well. The initial concepts were strong, and the designer was responsive. It took about 6 days to get the final files, which was a day longer than the estimate, but overall, the quality was good for the price I paid. I'd use them again.

hey, trying to decide between Marthrive and Upwork for a web dev project. anyone have experience with both and can tell me if one is better than the other?

P Priya 4 months ago
I've used both for different things. Marthrive feels a bit more curated, like the quality might be a little higher overall. Upwork has more options but sometimes it's like sifting through a lot of noise. Depends on your budget and how much time you want to spend looking.

Marthrive seems to focus more on finding a good match for your project, whereas Upwork is more 'post and hope'. For web dev, you probably want someone really specific, so Marthrive might be better for that. I think Marthrive also handles payments differently, like more project-based.

Thinking of trying Marthrive for some social media help, but kinda worried about getting a fake freelancer. Anyone know how they check people out before they let them on the site?

Yeah, I used them for a logo design last month and the guy was legit. I think they have some kind of rating system and check portfolios. They definitely don't just let anyone in.

I heard they do background checks and skill tests for the providers. A friend of mine tried to sign up as a writer and said it was pretty thorough. Less Wild West than some other platforms, for sure.
